The excellent publisher Diane de Selliers has unveiled the advance proofs of the most ambitious gamble of her rich career: the Ramayana, a Vedic epic that tells the story of the exemplary life of Prince Rama, illustrated with Indian miniatures from the sixteen to the nineteenth century. The seven volumes are covered with flocked fabric designed by Franz Potisek and inspired by the Mughal motifs in the illustrations of the book. The set, which weighs 14 kg, will be ready in September and will cost…top secret.
